Mary Muniz-Pellicer, PHR, SHRM-CP

Mary Muniz-Pellicer is the Director of Human Resources at the YWCA of Greater Miami-Dade, Inc. Mary is a multi-lingual professional with 20+ yrs. of experience in Human Resources, Finance, and Administration. Mary has been very active & involved for many years in community and professional organizations. Prior to being President Elect for HRABC, Mary served as Diversity Chair/Director, Community Relations Director, and College Relations for HRABC. Prior to that Mary served as the 2013 VP Professional Development, overseeing Programs, Global Forum, Executive Summit, and Certification for GMSHRM. She was also the 2012 President for SMA South Florida chapter, 2015/2016 VP Marketing & Communications, and Sponsorship Chair for SMA. Aside from the HR arena, Mary is active in several other volunteer organizations in South Florida.

Mary serves on the Dade Coalition for Education and Economic Justice; served as the VP of Legislation & Advocacy, Resource Development Chair, and Social Media Chair for the Miami-Dade County Council of PTAs since 2011/12. Mary was also appointed in 2008 to the NMB Commission on the Status of Women, where she served on the Board for many years. In addition, Mary has done many speaking engagements and presentations covering topics such as job-hunting techniques, interviewing skills, re-vamping resumes, strategic networking, and social media skills for job hunters. In recent years, Mary has presented at the 1st Florida Women’s Conference in Orlando; the Broward County Women’s Empowerment Expo; the City of Miami Gardens Business Expo, the Miami Beach Women’s Conference and Expo, the Regional National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) annual event, the American Society for Public Administration South Florida Chapter, and the YWCA Regional Southeast Conferences to name a few.



Eduardo Safille, PHR, SHRM-CP  
President Elect

Eduardo Safille (“Eddie”) is a multifaceted management professional, consultant, and academic with advanced legal training in international arbitration and dispute resolution. He studied international politics and mandarin Chinese at the University of Pennsylvania, earned his law degree from Washington and Lee University, and master of laws in international arbitration from the University of Miami. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Strategic HR Management from Cornell University, as well as PHR and SHRM-CP human resource designations. Finally, he is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator certified practitioner.

Eddie has worked for the Florida Department of Health since 2011, holding positions as Labor Relations Manager, Director of Human Resources, and Director of Talent Management. Through his human resource work, he has recognized behavioral trends in employees who have succeeded and failed, and implemented strategies to identify these behaviors at an early stage, during the recruitment process. He benefited from a decade of work experience in the hospitality industry, which influenced his perpetual emphasis on customer service – a behavioral competency consistently demonstrated by top performers. In addition to his HR work, Eddie teaches graduate level human resources at Florida International University, in the Master of Science in Human Resource Management program (ranked #1 program by He also manages a private consulting firm, which he co-founded in 2016.


Janelle Doharty, PHR, SHRM-CP
Past President

IJanelle Doharty is the Director of Human Resources for Interim HealthCare the nation's oldest health care franchise company. Prior to her tenure with the Interim HealthCare, Janelle was the Director of Human Resources for United Way of Broward County, and has also held various positions in HR & Recruiting for a number of firms in both healthcare and retail.

Janelle is both PHR and SHRM-CP certified and holds a Master’s of Science in Human Resources Management from Nova South Eastern University. Prior to being President, Janelle has also held the role of Membership Chair in 2011 and 2012, Programs chair 2016 and President 2017.


Rodica Charles
Programs Director

Rodica Charles is the Wellness Manager at Sapoznik Insurance and overseas all the programming and curriculum design that is customized for each client. With a master’s degree in human resources and an extensive background in operations, human resources, employee relations and data analysis, Rodica brings her expertise in building a “fusion” between health and wellness. She understands benefits from the perspective of the employer and the employee.

Prior to Sapoznik Insurance, Rodica was in charge of the human resources, overseeing 2,000 employees across the United States. Formerly, she administered operations for one of the largest national income property management companies.

Rodica is also an adjunct professor for Broward College, teaching senior level courses for business majors. Her academic and professional achievements over the years have allowed her to grow, personally and professionally, gain a better understanding of the environments, while allowing her the opportunity to give back to the community.

Rodica is an avid "yogi" and meditator, with over 20 years of experience in the corporate and customer service space.

Gary Lyew-Ayee, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Gary Lyew-Ayee has more than 15 years of progressive human resources experience in multiple disciplines. He has worked in various industries; including Telecommunications, Power, Financial, Service and most recently HealthCare.  Currently, he is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Broward Health Imperial Point.  Prior to joining Broward Health, he was a Human Resources Manager at Baptist Health South Florida.  He has been actively involved in South Florida SHRM chapters for over five years.  

 Gary holds a Bachelor's Degree from Florida International University and is certified as both a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). 



Danielle Corradino, JD
Communications Director 

Danielle Corradino is the Director of Human Resources at The Corradino Group, Inc., a national multimillion dollar mid-sized engineering and planning firm. She is an accomplished human resources professional with over 13 years of experience in the private sector, and a primary focus on small business growth and risk management. She is also responsible for HR Strategy, benefit management, HRIS, employment law, and other business support services, as well as organizational development, attracting and developing talent and building a culture of engagement. She is highly skilled in compliance, leadership and management coaching.

Danielle is a facilitator for Women Leading Broward, a leadership initiative in Broward County. She was in the class of 2016 and facilitated the 2017 and 2018 classes. She has been the Communications Director for the Human Resources Association of Broward County (HRABC) since 2017.

Danielle holds a JD from Widener University School of Law and a BA from Villanova University.


Lisa Molina, sHRBP
Membership Director 

Lisa Molina, sHRBP is the Senior Manager of Human Resources for Lupin Pharmaceuticals which is a global generics pharmaceutical company.  Lisa currently heads the Research & Development facility in Coral Springs, FL for Lupin and is responsible for all human resources activities.  Lisa brings over 20 years of global HR experience primarily in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries where she has been responsible for managing and implementing all HR initiatives in the areas of recruiting, talent development, compensation analysis, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, employee relations, benefit administration and corporate training. 

Lisa is bi-lingual and holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management from University of Maryland University College.



Deifilia Lanza, PHR, SHRM-CP
Hospitality Director 

Deifilia Lanza is the Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Fresco y Mas, brand new grocery chain focus is provide our Hispanic and Caribbean customers with an experience that make them feel at home. She has held various Human Resources position with Southeastern Grocers. She has an extensive experience in Hiring, Training, Performance Managing, Associates Relations, and Strategic HR.

Deifilia holds both certifications: PHR and SHRM-CP as well as Coaching in Engagement and Performance Certification with HCI, and a Bachelor in Business Administration with specialization in Management and Human Resources from Florida International University.  


Richard Jennette, DBA, LLM, CBM

As a resident of Broward County since 1968, Mr. Jennette spent his early years in Broward County in the Emergency Medical Services field. He also served as the CFO of a Broward-based Internet startup and a volunteer consultant with the SBDC at Florida Atlantic University. He served as CFO and CCO for clients in the financial services, real estate development and health care industries.

He is certified as a Master Black Belt Six Sigma, and in Lean Management, Total Quality Management, Kaizen and Human Resources. He also holds a Certified Business Manager certification, Certified Sarbanes Oxley Expert & Trainer, Certified Hedge Fund Compliance Expert and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.


Michael S. Kantor, Esq.
Legislative Affairs

Michael is an Associate with the law firm of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, P.L. and is based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.  Michael specializes in the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, representing private and public sector employers in all phases of employment litigation, up to and including trial, on matters arising under federal, state and local employment laws such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Florida Civil Rights Act. In addition, Michael regularly consults with and advises private and public sector employers on a wide array of human resources issues, including personnel policies and procedures, discipline and discharge matters, drug and alcohol testing, employee privacy rights, and education and training programs for managers and supervisors.

Michael is a regular contributor to publications such as the Daily Business Review, having authored several timely articles on developments in employment law and seasonally relevant issues facing employers. A South Florida native, Michael received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Central Florida and a J.D. from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law School.  Prior to joining the Firm, Michael practiced labor and employment law at a large national law firm in Miami.

Marc Taule
Sponsorship Director

Marc is an expert in Human Resources Compliance: Drug Free Workplace, Background Checks, DOT & Non-DOT Employee Policy Development, Supervisory Training, State & Federal Employment Compliance, Auditing, Recruiting and Staffing.  He graduated with a degree in Business and a minor in Computer Science. One of his first jobs was Staffing Manager, where he oversaw the hiring of over 300 people. In 1996 he established his recruiting firm, that staffs video game companies like Pokémon and Sony Computer Entertainment.  Simultaneously, Marc runs his family business, NMS Management Services, Inc.  NMS is a 30 year old Nationwide TPA (Third Party Administrator), specialized in Occupational Testing and Compliance for DOT and Non-DOT entities like The State of Florida Department of Transportation, School Districts and Municipalities across the nation and companies like HBO, National Beverage and Pet Supermarkets to name a few. 

Marc is the author of the book "Get In The Game", a guide that prepares people for their job search. Currently he has been presenting on Updating Your Drug Free Workplace policy for Medical Marijuana, Prescription Drug and Expanded Opiates along with other substance abuse workplace issues.


Dean Altman, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP 
Workforce Readiness Director

Dean is an HR consultant who provides a wide range of services and support to clients.  He started his consulting practice in 2015 after working more than 20 years for mid-sized and large organizations in various HR management roles.  He has worked with best practice organizations in the technical services, hospitality, engineering and not-for-profit sectors.  Dean also teaches the SHRM certification course for Broward College.  He holds an MBA degree from The University of Texas with a concentration in Human Resources and a BS degree in Engineering from Rice University.  He is both SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified.



Tatiana Rosa
Community Affairs Director

Tatiana is a Benefits Consultant for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher) in the South Florida market and has over 18 years of management, technology consulting and human resources experience in various industries. Tatiana is responsible for business development & management, providing strategic solutions for health and welfare, including benefits administration, compliance, wellness, employee communications and technology, in order to help organizations have happier, healthier, more productive employees and achieve the best financial outcome possible.

Prior to joining Gallagher, Tatiana was a technology consultant at Liazon Corporation, which is the private exchange technology platform that powers the Gallagher Marketplace. Her areas of expertise also include PEO solutions as well as payroll and HRIS systems technology as an account executive and solutions consultant in those arenas. Tatiana has a BSBA and an MBA from Old Dominion University and is actively involved in various local Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) organizations.


Marina Konchkak, SPHR, SHRM-CP
Professional Development Director 

Marina Konchak is a certified HR Executive with extensive and diverse experience in her field, holding both the SPHR and SHRM-SCP designations. A strategic leader, she has built HR infrastructures from the ground up, streamlined HR processes in complex organizations, and has demonstrated the ability to align human resources functions with overall strategic business initiatives. Marina truly exemplifies the “big picture” HR strategist while ensuring the attainment of business objectives. As visionary thinker and inspirational leader, Marina approaches each new business challenge with an innovative and unique strategy that drives consistent bottom-line improvement while enhancing talent retention.

Marina started her career in HR with Home Depot when the company had just 3 stores and was instrumental in the overall success of the HR and Operations strategy. Marina will be starting a new role as the Senior Managing Director of HR with Hotwire Communications on January 29th, transitioning from her role as Director of Human Resources at The Learning Experience.


Debra McCollough, SPHR, SHRM-CP
Diversity Director

Debra McCollough has been directing human resources functions at Keefe McCullough (KMc) since 2013. Her career in HR began with a specialization in corporate relocation and expatriate services. Piqued by the vastness of global markets, she redirected her concentration to that of a generalist beginning with a senior labor relations positions at Ryder System during an expansion into European markets. Prior to joining KMc, she was VP of HR at Magellan Associates, a global IT consulting firm in Chicago. McCollough also worked as VP of People, Risk & Quality Assurance at TracFone Wireless, a subsidiary of América Móvil and international cellular corporation.

Her career also includes several years as an entrepreneur working as a business and HR consultant. McCollough has directed nearly every aspect of HR including compensation, benefits, change management, HRIS, diversity & inclusion, training, talent acquisition, retention and labor relations. She has experience with startup to Fortune500 companies in several industries including consulting, professional services, logistics, transportation and communications.

Debra holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Bachelors and Masters degrees in Human Resources as well as Human Resources SPHR and SHRM-CP certifications. She is the 2018 Director of Diversity for the local Society of Human Resources Chapter, Human Resources Association of Broward County. She has extensive volunteer experience in South Florida including currently sitting on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Southeast Florida.


Lindsey Stephens, SPHR
Student Chapters Director


Lindsey Stephens is the Director of Human Resources for Raw Juce, a fast-casual juice bar with locations throughout South Florida. With Raw Juce, Lindsey is able to combine her passion for health and human resources by integrating innovative human resource techniques into Raw Juce’s vision to support ‘our universe’ in its journey to live a healthy lifestyle. Prior to Raw Juce, Lindsey was a Human Resources Manager for Caesars Entertainment at Harrah’s New Orleans and Harrah’s Philadelphia. In addition, Lindsey has also held various positions specializing in talent acquisition, training & development, HRIS and employee relations.

Lindsey holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and is SPHR certified.
